Where the money usually comes from
Medicaid
Including CAP and PCS, and all Medicaid managed care plans. Guilford County DSS referrals are accepted.
Veterans Affairs
VA benefits are accepted. Which specific programs apply depends on the veteran’s service and circumstances — call and we will tell you what we see.
Long-term care insurance
Most policies cover non-medical in-home care. Bring the policy and we will help you read what it covers.
Private pay
Straightforward hourly care, including live-ins.
Grant-funded programs
PACE and The GUIDE Program among them.

Is this medical care?
No. Caring Hands provides non-medical in-home care. We are not a Medicare-certified home health agency and we do not provide skilled nursing or therapy.
