Love is the basic foundation upon which I begin everything I do. The Word reminds me; Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails.
I will work together within the Caring Hands team and amongst other like-minded caregivers to provide a holistic-which includes the mind, body and soul and a safe home care experience. I will ask for help when I need it and I am compassionate to others who ask of me.
I will give respect, no matter the person’s differences and readily receive respect for my differences. I respect the inherent value and worth of each person regardless of their differing beliefs. Respecting the dignity of a person requires reverence at every stage of life’s journey from conception to death.
Good enough isn’t good enough. I will strive to provide the best care to every client every day and in every situation. I look for opportunities to add value to the care giving experience; starting with customer service with a smile and hands that care.
I support and empathize with our community and the stressful challenge of dealing with sickness and pain. I will advocate for kids, for the elderly, for their families and for my fellow co-workers.
Knowledge is power. I have a relentless drive to learn more. I look for opportunities to grow, so that I can be a resource for my client and add value to Caring Hands. I will take advantage of every learning opportunity available.
I can be trusted in my client's home to not violate an individual during their most vulnerable times. I will never take anything that does not belong to me. I will treat everything I touch as valuable. My clients can trust me and I understand that I represent the integrity of Caring Hands.
I take responsibility for my words, my actions and my mistakes. I am a responsible when anyone, anywhere reaches out for help. I understand that I play an important role in the lives those I serve.
I will get to work on time. Punctuality is a quality I possess that shows that I am professional and it helps me stand out as a reliable, responsible and trustworthy caregiver. I will not cause unnecessary anxiety on my client and their family due to being consistently late.
I love to care for people. This is why I made a conscience decision to work for Caring Hands. Caring encompasses us all. Leaders caring about employees, employees caring for each client and all of us caring for our community. To care is my purpose and God honors my charity.
